What Is It?
The upa JUMP Super Star and TUMBLE super star competitions determine the best-of-the-best in specific skill areas. All competition takes place at the AmeriCup in Minneapolis. Think you can be a Super Star winner? Give it a try!

WHAT PACKAGE DO I HAVE TO BUY IN ORDER TO COMPETE IN THIS EVENT?PARTICIPANTS MAY ATTEND THIS EVENT EVEN IF THEIR TEAM IS NOT COMPETING AT THE AMERICUP. HOWEVER, ALL COMPETITORS MUST PURCHASE THE UPA ATHLETE PACKAGE IN ADDITION TO THE $30 PER PERSON REGISTRATION FEE IN ORDER TO COMPETE IN THIS EVENT. ALL COMPETITORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THE UPA SEMI-FORMAL AWARDS GALA WHERE THE WINNERS WILL BE RECOGNIZED. INDIVIDUALS WILL ALSO BE SELECTED FROM THIS COMPETITION FOR THE ELITE UPA ALL STARS.

How Are The Super Star Divisions Broken Up?
DETERMINED BY INDIVIDUALS AGE.

NEW BREAKDOWN FOR 2011!
TINY: 5 YEARS OLD AND UNDER
MITE: 6-8 YEARS OLD
YOUTH: 9-11 YEARS OLD
TEEN: 12- 14 YEARS OLD
JUNIOR: 15-16 YEARS OLD
SENIOR: 17-18 YEARS OLD
COLLEGIATE: 19 YEARS OLD AND UP

What Does It Cost?
$30 per person / PER EVENT (i.e. Jump, Leap, Kick, Tumble)

How do I Register?
ALL REGISTRATION TAKES PLACE ONLINE. THERE IS A $30 PER PERSON ENTRY FEE DUE AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION. A SECURE ONLINE CREDIT CARD REGISTRATION SYSTEM IS IN PLACE. NO REGISTRATIONS ACCEPTED VIA MAIL. IT IS UP TO THE COACH/INDIVIDUAL TO ENTER THE CORRECT CATEGORY/DIVISION. REGISTRATION CLOSES ON FEBRUARY 1ST. ABSOLUTELY NO REGISTRATION WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DATE.

JUMP Super Star DeTAILS* Three separate jumps or combination of jumps: variety
(i.e., one toe touch OR THREE toe touches done continuously would count as one jump)
* No music, props, tumbling or added skills. Just JUMP!
* Jumps judged on difficulty, technique & execution

Participants should be in their school/gym/studio uniform or a costume when competing.

PARTICIPANTS SHOULD ADHERE TO THEIR RULES & REGULATIONS THAT GOVERN THEIR STATE AND/OR PROGRAM.

TUMBLE Super Star DeTAILS
* Two tumble passes: variety of skills
* No music, props, or added skills. Just TUMBLE!
* Tumbling judged on difficulty, technique & execution

Participants should be in their school/gym/studio uniform or a costume when competing.
